Itinerary Highlights

On this trip to Ireland’s vibrant Capital City you will experience some of its history and culture. Visit Trinity College and Guinness Storehouse, enjoy incredible 360° views of the city with your complimentary pint of Guinness. Day trip north to Belfast including a visit to the World’s Largest Titanic Visitor Experience. Also, an excursion to the Boyne Valley in the County of Meath, stopping at Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre and return via Malahide Village, visiting Malahide Castle – one of the oldest and most historic castles in Ireland.

DAY 1  WELCOME TO IRELAND

Arrive Dublin Airport and after clearing customs, the group will be met by your Irish driver/guide in the arrivals terminal.  Board our awaiting motorcoach and transfer to the hotel.

Dinner in hotel.  

DAY 2 IN DUBLIN

Full Irish breakfast.

Morning sightseeing tour of Dublin during which we will see some of the more notable sights, the Georgian Squares of Merrion & Fitzwilliam, St.Patrick’s Cathedral, Phoenix Park where the President of Ireland is resident, the Four Courts, Ha’penny Bridge,  General Post Office and Bank of Ireland – Old Parliament House. On route visit Trinity College (Old Library & Book of Kells) and Guinness Storehouse, the seven storey visitor experience dedicated to the history and making of this world famous beer.

DAY 3 DUBLIN – BELFAST – DUBLIN

Full Irish breakfast

Full day excursion to Belfast, on arrival meet local guide for short panoramic sightseeing tour, viewing the major sites, Stormont, Shankill, Crumlin Road Gaol, Queens University, Albert Memorial Clock, Crown Liquor Saloon, Grand Opera House and City Hall.

Optional lunch.

DAY 4 DUBLIN – BOYNE VALLEY – MALAHIDE – DUBLIN

Full Irish breakfast Today we journey to the Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre in the Boyne Valley. On arrival at the Visitor Centre there will be an opportunity to see the audio visual presentation which interprets the Neolithic monuments of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth. Followed by a visit to see one of the prehistoric passage tombs. Optional lunch. In the afternoon we journey to the modern village of Malahide with a traditional feel. Colourful shop fronts, hanging baskets and cobbled streets give the village a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We will visit the magnificent 12th century Malahide Castle, one of the oldest and most historic castles in Ireland. Formerly it was the home of the Talbot Family. The castle is fully furnished with beautiful period furniture and an extensive collection of Irish portrait paintings, mainly from the National Gallery of Ireland.

DAY 5 DUBLIN – DUBLIN AIRPORT

Full Irish buffet breakfast

Transfer from hotel to Dublin Airport to connect with return flight home.
